Meulendijks introduces new FT Foodtrays. Sturdy Apet foodtrays for meat or fish, vegetables and fruit. Trays in black and clear APET. Sealable en extremely well suitable for wrapping.

Production Start Apet

January 2, 2012

Meulendijks Packaging started the production of APET by Extrusion and Thermoforming. Apet is a completely transparent material with good impact resistance and high stiffness. Apet has a temperature range from -40C to +70C. and therefore excelent for packaging food for cooling and freezing. The material offers many advantages compared to PS. Apet doesn’t tear, is greaseproof 100% recyclable. Meulendijks Packaging will on short notice replace all PS products in this productgroup by APET including KS trays and trays for cold cuts.

An absolute first!

Meulendijks Packaging presents the C-Foodtray®, a fish tray designed for optimal user comfort and a fantastic way to offer your fish products. These customer-friendly trays for a delicious herring or fried fish are available in three colors and various types. This assortment is still being developed and therefore not yet complete.

KS Trays/ENREPS ®

March 10, 2010

Meulendijks Packaging started with a line of KS-trays. These KS-trays are made of  ENREPS®, a three-layer PS-foil. The outer layers are made of new GPPS, the inner layer consists of a special composition containing 50% recycled PS. Because of their special composition Meulendijks Verpakkingen can save material and energy without affecting the quality and user possibilities. The KS trays, bearing the ‘plastic hero’ logo, are proof of  Meulendijks Verpakkingen’s efforts to create a better environment. This assortment is still being developed and therefore not yet complete.

Plastic Hero:

november 1, 2009

Throughout the country plastic is being collected and recycled. The Plastic Hero campaign was successfully kicked off and Meulendijks Packaging is wholeheartedly involved. Meulendijks has embossed the plastic hero logo in a number of its recyclable products. This will urge users to sensibly deal with plastic waste so that it can be re-used in new products.

Meulendijks Packaging was in the spotlight in a recent edition of Klokhuis, a Dutch educational TV show for children. The program was so popular that it was repeated more than once. The show gave a clear, yet amusing overview of the manufacturing process at Meulendijks Packaging.
